K-Laser

K-Laser therapy is a non-invasive supportive treatment used by our veterinary team for selected cats and dogs. It delivers specific wavelengths of light to targeted areas of the body and may help support comfort, mobility and healing as part of a wider veterinary care plan.

At Heronden Vets, K-Laser is recommended only after a clinical assessment. Your vet will consider your pet’s condition, age, temperament and any other treatment they may already be receiving. This helps us decide whether K-Laser therapy is suitable, how many sessions may be helpful, and what other care your pet may need.

K-Laser may be discussed for pets with stiffness, osteoarthritis, soft-tissue injuries, wound healing needs or post-surgery rehabilitation. It is not a replacement for diagnosis, medication or surgery where those are needed, but it can be a useful addition for some patients under veterinary guidance.

Treatment sessions are usually calm and straightforward. Many pets remain relaxed throughout, and our team will explain what to expect before the first appointment. We will also review progress and adapt the plan if your pet’s needs change.

If you would like to know whether K-Laser could support your pet, please contact Heronden Vets to book an appointment. You can also explore our wider veterinary services, including surgery, rehabilitation support and preventative care.
