That way, we can find your video quickly and add your pet to the competition.

Best Pet Video Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter
    This competition is run by Heronden Vets in partnership with Pure Connection Pets.
  2. How to enter
    To enter, participants must complete the entry form on the Heronden Vets website and either send their pet video to Heronden Vets or post it on social media, tagging Heronden Vets so the entry can be seen.
  3. Entry requirements
    Videos must feature the entrant’s own pet, or a pet they have permission to enter. Entries must be suitable for public viewing and must not contain anything offensive, inappropriate, harmful, or distressing to animals.
  4. Animal welfare
    The welfare of pets is very important to us. Any video showing unsafe handling, distress, forced behaviour, or anything that may compromise an animal’s wellbeing will not be accepted.
  5. Competition categories
    There will be two prize categories: Best Cat Video and Best Dog Video.
  6. Public voting
    A public vote will take place from 1st August 2026 to 11th August 2026. The winners will be announced after voting has closed.
  7. Prizes
    Each winner will receive a £50 gift basket from Pure Connection Pets, plus a free veterinary consultation and claw clipping at Heronden Vets. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
  8. Use of submitted videos
    By entering, participants give Heronden Vets and Pure Connection Pets permission to use submitted videos, pet names, and related entry details for competition promotion, including on the website, email communications, and social media.
  9. Consent and permissions
    Entrants must ensure they have permission from anyone appearing in the video before submitting it. Videos featuring children should only be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
  10. Eligibility
    Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Only one entry per pet is permitted unless otherwise agreed by Heronden Vets.
  11. Prize collection and booking
    Winners will be contacted after the competition closes. The veterinary consultation and claw clipping must be booked directly with Heronden Vets and used within a timeframe agreed with the practice.
  12. Right to remove entries
    Heronden Vets reserves the right to remove or refuse any entry that does not meet these terms and conditions.
  13. Changes to the competition
    Heronden Vets reserves the right to amend, pause, or cancel the competition if necessary.
  14. Data protection
    Personal information submitted as part of the entry form will only be used to administer the competition and contact entrants about their entry, unless further consent has been given.
